DOC. Magazine is a collaboration of a small group of students studying at the Faculty of Design, Munich. This magazine gets published twice a year and includes several interviews and students work.
For the 7th edition of the DOC. Magazine we allow ourselves something new. We asked, what happened if the request would be »All bets are off?«. We set up our own rules, follow them, creating a new system. A basic grid, multiple page layouts, text layers, replacing all images with black censored placeholders.

We replaced all images with black areas. The images could be found by a code in the last pages of the magazine. To feel the experience of the magazine, hover the black areas below.

For every issue there's a vernissage and release party. So we decided to make an exhibition with selected students work. All the works were pinned as black placeholder images and were only visible with our magazine.
